Have you ever been a guest in someone’s home in a foreign country? When? Why? What was different?

Each country has its own traditions. A few years ago I was in Australia. And there we  visited armenian-australian and also australian people’s houses. I can say that there were really different from each other. As we know the Armenians are very hospitable nation and I can not say the same thing about Australians. But what is important The Austrians attach great importance to communication. And what about the Armenians. In Armenia when housewives hear that someone is going to visit them, they get confused and they  start thinking about what to cook to amaze their guests. And finally the guests  arrive. The first words are, "Please feel you as you’re in your house. Take your jackets, take your seats". And then starts the most important part. It’s not important if their house is so small, they should put the biggest table. And what about dishes. They put so many different dishes, and if you try not to taste each of them, I can say that the house lady will shrink. But of course my description doesn't match to all families. So, in Australia everything was different. And I want to write about one thing that I really liked there. There is a tradition like this. When you are going to go to someone’s house, you can cook something and take it with you. And then when everyone has already gathered in one place there will be many types of dishes, and I think it’s interesting. You can share your traditional dishes and so on. And finally the most important thing is that the housewives also  spend time with their guests, as in Armenia they’re always busy in the kitchen.
